I will keep my Sabbath and use it wisely.
It takes time to train and it takes time to recover. After my 50K, I plan on taking at least a week and allowing my body to heal before getting back to my normal, off-season running. I will take this week seriously, because I want to remember that life isn’t always about pushing forward, but also about taking stock of what you have and learning to be content with that too. So, I encourage you to take a Sabbath occasionally and really use it to take stock in what you have.
