Not being busy, I will be active.
Not being hurried, I will keep moving.
This weeks phrase is a thought from The Re-enchantment of Everyday Life by Thomas Moore and I’m simply reflecting on a bit of the very beginning of the book. It’s about nature and how so often nature is not seen as a spiritual thing because we get so caught up in busyness. Busyness and activity are drastically different.
“We can be extremely active without be busy, and busy without accomplishing anything” – Thomas Moore
So, this week, try to stay active, even if you’re not running, and try to be unbusy, even if your schedule is packed.
